If you love the A5 at Genki Wagyu House, the original Genki in Fairfax, VA serves it a different way: A5 Miyazaki Wagyu on a hot stone, as sukiyaki or with foie gras, plus uni, bluefin and some of the most stunning highballs around. All from Chef Junzo Miyajima's izakaya menu.
Before Genki Wagyu House, Chef Junzo Miyajima built izakayas across the region: Genki Izakaya in Fairfax, Izakaya Nana in Chantilly, Izakaya 68 in Hunt Valley and, earlier, Kaiju Ramen on Barracks Row. A map of the most talked-about izakayas behind our chef, and the best plate at each.
